1. Tomorrow I'm going to meet with the acupuncturist. I don't like needles so I'm a bit nervous, but if it works it'll be worth it.2. I need to figure out what colors to paint Squish's bedroom. Any suggestions?
3. Squish tried to change her own diaper today. It was cute and very funny. She had her dirty diaper on the floor next to her, a clean diaper in one hand, and was trying to wipe herself up with the wipe she was holding in the other hand. She was so cute. I offered to help and she refused to let me until she realized how hard it was going to be for her to put her own diaper on.
4. I wish I could figure out why I had been sleeping so badly the last few nights.
5. I'm stilling knitting that blanket. It's started to slow down a lot since I've been so busy with school. There's nothing quite like trying to fit 16 weeks of work into 10 weeks of classes.
6. Does anyone have a cure for terrible cramps? Even with all the medication I'm taking for my back, I am still getting terrible cramps. The kind that stop me in my tracks, bring tears to my eyes, and make it nearly impossible to think, move, or breath. Labor is easy for me compared to these. I've always had pretty bad cramps, but they've been getting worse and it's miserable.
7. J and Squish have been playing together so nicely with Princesa gone. I really hope this continues when she gets back because for the most part everyone seems a bit more relaxed and happy.

If you're on lots of meds already, I don't know if this helps but I used to take 2 Aleve every 6 hours (that's more than the offical dosage, but it was recommended by my doctor). A non-drug "cure" is a heating pad. I've never tried those therma-care pads that you can stick right on your belly, but I think that should work like the heating pad if you need to be on-the-go. Sorry about the cramps as well as the other pain, I hope you find relief soon!!!
ReplyDelete#3 So cute! Sounds like my 2 year old who is determined to potty train herself despite my best efforts to postpone her.
ReplyDeleteI've never found anything that really helped cramps. Ecept trying to stay as super hydrated as I could. Hope it gets better!
